WN Financial Education Program Welcome from the WN Financial Education National Program Chair Financial success is not always dependent on income; many people earning an impressive salary struggle to make ends meet. The WN Financial Education Program aims to provide workshops and seminars on a bi-annual basis to heighten and advance the comprehension and application of personal finances to strengthen the financial structure of women of color and their families. From developing a spending plan to purchasing a first home, the financial education workshops and services cover the core concepts of developing and maintaining personal financial control. WN will partner with financial corporations and other women's organizations to provide educational opportunities to WN members. The purpose of the WN Financial Education Program workshops and seminars are to encourage and promote personal and family financial empowerment by Providing tools to make the best consumer decisions based on their particular financial situation, credit rating and goals. Teaching how to build a solid personal finance and investment strategy. Teaching WN Members and their children on the importance of incorporating finances into their family education. WN Investment Club The WN Investment club provides a practical experience for WN members to develop a diverse financial portfolio to understand the world of stocks and bonds, mutual funds and retirement and savings accounts . The club will engage its participants in a "hands on" learning experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing their financial portfolios and personal knowledge. Workshops and Seminars I. Personal Finance Series Workshop series focused on educating participants on building and maintaining financial stability and creating personal wealth II. Family Finance Series Workshop series focused on educating participants on incorporating finances into their family education and making it a family activity III. Wall Street For Women Series Workshop series focused on educating participants on the financial markets, Wall Street business operations, and how it involves them IV. Home Owner Series Workshop series focused on educating participants on the home buying, selling, and estate planning process V.
